Transfer Your AVS to VMA Certification

Individuals with a current or recently expired Associate Value Specialist (AVS) certification can transfer to the VMA certification by completing the online VMA application and paying the application fee of $50 USD. You do not need to retake the exam. Once your VMA application and payment are processed, your SAVE profile will be updated.

Those AVS who have not transferred to the VMA certification by 2020 will be required to complete a new application for the VMA certification. Those who do not wish to transfer to a VMA certification should prepare to apply for CVS certification.
